What is office 365?
Your College Microsoft Account
Your College Microsoft Account utilizes Single Sign-On (SSO), giving you one central login for all campus services. Use your student credentials to securely access:
- Email: Your official student Outlook inbox and Microsoft 365 apps.
- Moodle: Your Learning Management System (LMS) for classes and assignments.
- Meshed: The student information system for your enrollment, timetables, and grades.
- Campus Computers: Logging into any physical desktop on our premises.
- Helpdesk: Our IT ticketing system for technical support.
🔒 ONE LOGIN, ACCESS TO EVERYTHING
Because this system uses Single Sign-On, logging into your Microsoft account automatically unlocks all of these platforms. You do not need to create or remember separate passwords for Moodle, Meshed, or the Helpdesk.
How to login to your Email Account?
Entering Username and Password
- Go to the login page: https://www.office.com.
- Enter your email address (e.g.,
12345678@student.cihe.edu.au). - Enter the password from your orientation email.
- Click Sign In.
- You will be prompted for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for added security.

How do I reset my office365 password?
If you’re trying to reset the password for a CIHE Microsoft account (Office 365/ Microsoft 365 account managed by your CIHE), follow these steps:
Option 1:Self-Password Reset (Quicker)
- Go to the Office 365 Password
Reset Page: Visit https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com.
OR
- Enter Your School Email:
- Enter the CIHE email address (the one provided by CIHE during the orientation).
- Verify Your Identity:
- You will need to verify your identity. Options may include:
Receiving a verification code via email or text or call
- You will need to verify your identity. Options may include:
- Create a New Password:
- After successfully verifying your identity, you can enter a new password.
CIHE password requirement- Lowercase, Uppercase, Special character, Number
- After successfully verifying your identity, you can enter a new password.
- Sign In with New Password:
- Once the password is reset, sign in to your account using the new password.
