What is office 365?

Office 365 is your gateway to:

  1. Email – Your student Email. 
  2. Moodle: The learning management system(LMS) that we use. 
  3. Campus computers: The computers inside our premises. 

Entering Username and Password

    • Go to the login page: https://www.office.com.
    • Enter your email address (e.g., 12345678@student.cihe.edu.au).
    • Enter the password from your orientation email.
    • Click Sign In.
    • You will be prompted for  Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for added security.

  1. Microsoft Word
  2. Microsoft OneDrive
  3. Microsoft Excel

If you’re trying to reset the password for a CIHE Microsoft account (Office 365/ Microsoft 365 account managed by your CIHE), follow these steps:

Option 1:Self-Password Reset (Quicker)

  1. Go to the Office 365 Password
    Reset Page:     Visit https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com.
                                                   OR
  1. Enter Your  School Email:
    • Enter the CIHE email address (the one provided by CIHE during the orientation).
  1. Verify Your Identity:
    • You will need to verify your identity. Options may include: 
      Receiving a verification code via email or text or call
  1. Create a New Password:
    • After successfully verifying your identity, you can enter a new password.
      CIHE password requirement- Lowercase, Uppercase, Special character, Number
  1. Sign In with New Password:
    • Once the password is reset, sign in to your account using the new password.

Note: You will be using Microsoft Account to login to Meshed, Moodle, and Teams.
